About the Event
The Centre for Counselling and Health Services (CCHS) will observe World No Tobacco Day on May 31st, 2025, to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco use and promote healthier, substance-free lifestyles among students. This global day serves as a powerful reminder of the long-term health risks associated with tobacco consumption, including its impact on physical well-being, mental health, and overall quality of life.
Marking such days is essential in creating space for education, reflection, and change. It allows communities to come together in support of informed choices and preventive action. Through this awareness initiative, CCHS hopes to spark meaningful conversations and empower students to take conscious steps toward protecting their health and supporting others in doing the same.
Let us use this day as an opportunity to choose wellness, support one another, and work towards a tobacco-free future.
